Certification K: 2024 Q2 chain loss amount reaches $688 million

On July 3rd, Web3.0 security agency CertiK recently released "Hack3d: Web3.0 Security Report for the Second Quarter and First Half of 2024". The report said that in the second quarter of 2024, a total of 184 on-chain security incidents occurred, and the loss amount reached $688 million. Compared with Quarter 1 in 2024, the loss amount increased by 37%. Among them, phishing and private key leakage were the main reasons for asset losses in the second quarter. The report also pointed out that in the first half of 2024, a total of 408 security incidents occurred, and the total loss reached $1.19 billion.
