Steve Kurz, head of asset management at Galaxy Digital, said the Securities Exchange Commission could approve a spot Ethereum ETF by the end of July and is optimistic about more cryptocurrency ETFs.
Kurz said that approval is expected to be obtained in a matter of weeks rather than days as well as a month. Additionally, Galaxy has been working with the SEC for several months, noting that the company's upcoming Spot Ethereum ETF is similar to its existing Spot Bitcoin ETF (BTCO). Galaxy partnered with investment management firm Invesco to create both funds.
