Flare Network has announced that the FLR inflation rate will be reduced from the current 7% to 5% from 3:00 UTC on July 5, 2024 to achieve a more sustainable level. This change has been approved by the community (FIP.01).
This adjustment will reduce the number of new FLRs minted each year, making long-term supply scarcer. Delegate and pledge rewards will be adjusted accordingly, and FlareDrops will not be affected.
