香港证券界希望为加密货币现货ETF 发行相关衍生工具，由于加密货币现货ETF已正式上市，券商可向监管机构申请发行衍生工具，例如推出相关有更高杠杆的期权等，这将会大大提升香港虚拟资产市场的吸引力，可以说加密货币现货ETF 推出后，不但吸引到喜欢投资实物加密货币的投资者，也为券商开辟更多发展机会。资深证券界人士谢明光指出，加密货币现货ETF对香港的发展前景更具信心。
