Following the completion of a $5.50 million funding round in mid-June, click-and-fight Telegram ecosystem game Pixelverse announced that it will launch PIXFI tokens on TON, with a total supply of 5 billion. According to official documents, PIXFI tokens will be used for trading, crafting, and game battles in the Pixelverse ecosystem. TON and Telegram are paving the way for mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, Pixelverse said in the announcement. The token will adopt a deflationary economic model. Mechanisms reduce the token supply over time, thus helping to maintain its value. In addition, PIXFI will also become the main token for trading on Pixelchain, acting as the game's gas token, as well as integration with the Pixelverse SDK to support in-game development and expansion.
