Gold Ten Futures, June 28, the Brazilian Sugar Industry Association (Unica) said that sugar production in the central and southern regions of Brazil reached 3.12 million tons in the first half of June, compared with 2.56 million tons in the same period last year. Sugarcane crushing volume was 48.998 million tons, compared with 40.669 million tons in the same period last year. Ethanol production was 2.248 billion liters, compared with 1.904 billion liters in the same period last year.
