The Aptos Foundation is partnering with Alibaba Cloud to strengthen Japan's Web3 ecosystem and improve regional accessibility in the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration launched Asia's first co-branded Move developer community, Alcove, to enhance accessibility and foster innovation across the region.
Alcove's mission is to expand the reach and popularity of the Move smart contract programming language among talented developers. The Aptos Foundation will use Alibaba Cloud's technology to host hackathons and educational events to support emerging Web3 talent in the Alcove Japan community and accelerate the development of the Japanese on-chain ecosystem.
