Seoul-based crypto venture capital firm Hashed Ventures is expanding its business to Abu Dhabi through a new partnership with Hub71, Abu Dhabi's global tech ecosystem.
Simon Kim, CEO of Hashed Ventures, told Bloomberg that Hashed Ventures plans to open a local office in Abu Dhabi and is considering opportunities to raise funds in the city. A further goal of the venture is to facilitate the entry of Korean startups into the UAE market, especially in the fintech and blockchain sectors. Kim said that Hashed has started working with Korean companies worth more than $1 billion to enter the Abu Dhabi market.
