On June 26th, Mantle announced that it will begin rolling out cmETH and COOK on July 1, 2024. With the passage of MIP-30, cmETH will become the new Liquidity Re-staking Token (LRT), and COOK will be introduced as the new governance token for Mantle LSP. The first season will start on July 1 for 100 days.
Mantle says users can pool mETH on a co-op agreement to get Powder and prepare for future upgrades to cmETH. Powder can be converted to COOK. Users who hold mETH will automatically index existing positions when Methamorphosis of Mantle LSP starts. In addition, locking MNT earns future COOK rewards.
