Holograph said in a post on X that 51,925,313 HLGs were destroyed approximately two hours ago.
Prior to the illegal attack on the Holograph protocol on June 13, malicious attackers increased the total supply of HLG. The attackers moved 1 billion HLG to various CEXs and started selling. After notifying the exchange, about 200 million HLG was successfully frozen and is currently being recovered through law enforcement procedures.
After extensive discussions with the community, the plan to restore the total supply of HLG to 10 billion has been initiated, and the current remaining 789,949,266 HLG has yet to be destroyed.
