Turkish exchange BtcTurk has suffered a cyber attack, suspending cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals

On June 22nd, Turkish cryptocurrency exchange BtcTurk issued a notice saying that the platform was attacked on June 22nd. The attack affected part of the balance of hot wallets of 10 cryptocurrencies, but most of the assets were stored in safe cold wallets. BtcTurk said its financial strength was enough to cover the loss, and user assets would not be affected. At present, BtcTurk has suspended all cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals, and the team is conducting a detailed investigation.
