Exaion, a subsidiary of French state-owned energy company EDF, has become a validator for Cronos, a blockchain network developed by cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, just months after it did the same on Chiliz Chain.
Exaion is committed to solving data center energy efficiency issues and helping industries achieve digital transformation. The company joins a pool of 32 validators for the Cronos open-source Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) protocol. Cronos EVM interoperates with the Ethereum and Cosmos networks and uses a proof-of-authority consensus mechanism.
