Kraken CEO: Biden Administration's Attitude on Cryptocurrencies Is "Softening"

Kraken CEO Dave Ripley told CNBC on Thursday that the Biden administration is "softening" its stance on cryptocurrencies.
"At the beginning of the year, the executive branch, through the Securities Exchange Commission, was strongly opposed to cryptocurrencies, but there are a lot of supporters within the U.S. government," he said. "I visit Washington regularly and meet with a lot of people in Congress and the Senate, where there are a lot of supporters. I think over the last few months, maybe two months or so, we've seen strong support - and now bipartisan support."
"When people actually take the time to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, there is almost always a positive outcome," Ripley said in an interview.
