According to Lookonchain, a Merkly deployer successfully claimed 102,068 ZRO tokens with 2.83 ETH (worth $9,976), and then sold them all for 106.69 ETH, worth about $381,000.
Previously, LayerZero official said on Discord: "Using Merkly does not mean that the number of airdrops must be zero. If you have only used Merkly, then you are likely to be a witch. If you are a real user for normal operation, then there is no problem."
