Country Garden: The release of 2023 full year performance will be delayed, more information needs to be collected

On March 28th, Country Garden (02007. HK) Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced that due to continuous fluctuations in the industry, the operating environment faced by the group is becoming increasingly complex. The company needs to collect more information to make appropriate accounting estimates and judgments, in order to reasonably reflect changes in the industry and the company in the consolidated financial statements of the group for the year ended December 31, 2023. Meanwhile, as the debt restructuring work of the Group is still ongoing, and given the large number and wide distribution of the Group's projects, as well as the high workload and complexity involved in relevant due diligence, the Group needs more time to collect relevant financial information to carefully evaluate the Group's current and future financial resources and obligations. It is expected that the company's shares will be temporarily suspended from trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange starting from 9:00 am on April 2, 2024.
