On June 19, the hedge fund Numerai announced the launch of the crypto market prediction platform Numerai Crypto, and will release the Numerai Crypto meta-model for free in the next 12 months. Users can create accounts and use the model to predict the price of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Users can choose to stake NMR tokens on predictions and earn (or destroy) NMR tokens based on predicted performance.
Numerai previously launched Numeraire, a cryptocurrency project closely related to data science and artificial intelligence, in 2017 and issued cryptocurrency NMR.
