麦格理对美联储首次降息时点预测提前到今年12月

麦格理集团经济学家预计，得益于近期通胀回落，美联储将从12月开始放松货币政策，而非2025年第一季度。“广度指标显示出明显改善，有利于通胀下降，”经济学家David Doyle周二论及5月CPI报告时写道，“这一改善，再加上劳动力市场更多混杂的信号，促使我们把FOMC放松政策的基本情景预测提前”。麦格理目前预计，第四季度，确切来说是12月份，将降息25个基点；之前预计在2025年第一季度。
