US stocks close: NVIDIA wins the top 1 market capitalization

U.S. stocks closed Tuesday, with the Dow initially closing up 50 points or 0.15 percent, the S & P 500 up 0.25 percent and the Nasdaq edging higher. Apple (AAPL. O) fell 1.1 percent and Microsoft (MSFT. O) fell 0.4 percent. NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose 3.5 percent, making it the world's most valuable company with a market capitalization of $3.34 trillion. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed down 0.4 percent and Bilibili (BILI. O) rose 3 percent.
