On June 18, Yuga Labs co-founder Garga.eth wrote that in order to better align with the spirit that made us successful in the first place, and to democratize access for builders and creators, we have decided to donate these patents to the open-source community.
Some of the patent applications were filed under Yuga's previous leadership team, and some have now been approved. The first of these patents will be published later this week, and the donation should be completed soon.
