US stocks close: S & P, Nasdaq hit a new high 3 trillion dollar club "you chase me"

U.S. stocks closed Monday, with the Dow initially closing up 190 points or 0.50 percent, the S & P 500 up 0.77 percent, and the Nasdaq up 0.95 percent, before the latter two hit record highs again. Apple (AAPL. O) rose about 2 percent, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) fell 0.7 percent, and Microsoft (MSFT. O) rose 1.3 percent and hit new highs. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon edged lower, with Alibaba (BABA. N) up 1.6 percent, Bilibili (BILI. O) up 6.6 percent, and Li Auto (LI. O) down nearly 2 percent.
