Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik said he expects AI trading agents to outnumber human traders in about two years. According to Odaily, Nansen is shifting its product from a pure analytics tool to one that can trade directly, and the feature has generated more than $500 million in cumulative trading volume.
Svanevik said about 10 of the top 15 perpetual contracts by trading volume on Nansen are non-crypto assets, including SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, gold and crude oil. Nansen plans to open more autonomous trading agents after backtesting and paper trading, while aiming to reduce inference costs and limit the risk of poisoned inputs.
