ZEC fell 5% on Tuesday after the Zcash Ironwood upgrade went live at block 3,428,143, locking the network’s biggest private pool and forcing Orchard transactions into the new pool. According to BeInCrypto, the pool holds 3.76 million ZEC, worth about $1.89 billion, or roughly 22% of circulation, while developers said most holders do not need to act today. Node operators must install Zebra 6.0.0 before Tuesday, and some exchanges may pause deposits or withdrawals.
