Kabosu’s owner, @kabosumama, said the recently circulated CATE tokens are completely unrelated to her. According to Odaily, she said her Instagram post about a newly rescued kitten was used without authorization to create fake tokens, and she regretted that some accounts had abused her photos and content.
She said the only project she has formally participated in and endorsed is Own The Dog. The project received the Doge NFT in 2021 and launched the DOG token, and the two sides also worked together on the COCORO token on Base in 2025. She said proceeds from that project will be used to support daily animal care and animal protection activities.
Kabosu’s owner said information about her should be based on official announcements and urged the community to stay alert to projects and tokens unrelated to her.
