Japan's Foreign Minister Holds Phone Call With Iran's Foreign Minister

Japan's Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi held a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. According to Jin10, Motegi urged Iran to show maximum flexibility to quickly ease tensions, stressed the importance of continued U.S.-Iran talks, said issues should be resolved continuously under the memorandum of understanding, and added that Japan would work to support the relevant negotiations. Araghchi explained the current state of U.S.-Iran relations and Iran's position during the call.
