AceiiLab, a smart sports hardware company focused on AI tennis robots, has started mass delivery after raising more than 10 million yuan in angel funding, according to 36Kr. The round was backed by Zero2Capital, Variable Capital and Haisi Capital, and the company said the money will go toward product iteration and market expansion.
AceiiLab said its first product, the AceiiLab A1 tennis robot, has raised more than $820,000 on Kickstarter and is now being delivered in batches. The company also said it has signed a framework agreement worth millions of yuan with a distributor, while planning to launch domestic e-commerce sales and develop a next-generation product. The A1 can move at up to 5 meters per second, uses a self-developed binocular vision system, and supports multiple serving modes for different training scenarios.
