According to the announcement from Binance, the exchange will discontinue mainnet support for Sophon (SOPH) and open deposits and withdrawals for the token on the Ethereum (ERC20) network. At 2026-08-04 08:00 (UTC), deposits and withdrawals of Sophon (SOPH) via the Sophon mainnet will be suspended. Binance said users should allow enough time for deposits to be fully processed before that time. After the migration is completed, the Sophon mainnet will no longer be supported for deposits and withdrawals. Spot, Margin, and Futures trading, as well as Binance Earn services, will not be affected during the migration. Binance also said it will handle all technical requirements for users involved in the event.
Sophon (SOPH) will be migrated from its mainnet to the Ethereum (ERC20) network at a 1:1 ratio. Binance identified SOPH as the token involved in the contract swap and said the new token’s smart contract address is SOPH. The announcement did not provide any additional changes to trading services or other product functions beyond the migration details and the suspension of mainnet deposits and withdrawals.
