英格兰政府拟改革教育体系，让学生从14岁起可在核心学术学习之外选修制造、AI等技术科目。据BBC报道，相关课程将与当地就业和产业挂钩，政府称新路径最早可能于2028年在部分地区落地。此举出台之际，英国今年早些时候公布的数据显示，超过100万名年轻人不在教育、就业或培训中，创12年以上最高水平。
