According to Jin10, at least four Iranian drones struck the Khalifan and Soran areas northeast of Erbil in Iraq, and more than 10 U.S. warplanes and drones were seen flying over Erbil in response. Police also said fires broke out in the targeted area and surrounding areas, and two drones crashed near the target site. IRIB reported that the Khor Mor gas field in Iraq's northern Sulaymaniyah province was attacked in the early hours of Tuesday. The field's natural gas reserves are estimated at 8.2 trillion cubic feet, making it Iraq's largest non-associated gas field. The report said the timing of the attack was roughly the same as an explosion reported in Erbil, about 200 kilometers away.
