Tether 称，XAU₮ 由 TG Commodities, S.A. de C.V. 发行，每枚完整代币代表对存放于瑞士金库的实物黄金的直接所有权。认证要求包括实物黄金真实所有权、资产支持可验证、无利息、无杠杆或投机性衍生品，以及储备结构透明。
