According to Odaily, Huang said closed-source AI hindered key forensics during a previous Hugging Face security incident, while an open-weight frontier model helped contain the intrusion. He said this was the reason for creating the Open Secure AI Alliance.
Earlier, Nvidia announced the formation of the Open Secure Artificial Intelligence Alliance with several founding members to promote AI safety and security.
