Zcash plans to activate the Ironwood network upgrade at block height 3,428,143 on July 28. According to NS3.AI, the upgrade will introduce a new shielded pool with quantum-recoverable notes.
The design is intended to improve ZEC supply verification after concerns emerged over a forgery vulnerability in the existing Orchard pool.
