China Gold Group Co., Ltd. held a meeting on strategic mineral resource supply on July 26. According to Jin10, the meeting called for breaking institutional barriers, improving the operating framework for resource work, optimizing the assessment and incentive system for resource development, strengthening cross-department coordination, and sustaining industrial growth momentum.
It also said the group should pursue innovation, improve resource quality and efficiency against top industry benchmarks, and focus resources on building a number of landmark mineral resource projects with national influence and global recognition. It added that the group should focus on internal exploration and reserve growth, fully assess its resource base, accelerate the conversion of resource potential, build a domestic resource supply pattern with regional coordination and multi-point support through existing secondary companies, regional platforms and mining-related firms, and speed up construction of strategic resource supply bases.
The meeting also said the group should serve opening-up efforts, adapt proactively to international mining cooperation rules, innovate diversified merger and acquisition development models, and continue to enhance the group's voice in global mineral resource allocation.
