STOCKS | Chinese Futures Mostly Fall at Midday, SC Crude Oil and Fuel Oil Drop More Than 8%

At the midday close, most major Chinese futures contracts fell, with SC crude oil and fuel oil down more than 8%, and pure benzene down more than 7%. According to Jin10, synthetic rubber, styrene (EB), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and paraxylene fell more than 6%, while liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) dropped nearly 6%. On the upside, palladium, platinum, and Shanghai silver rose more than 3%, lithium carbonate and Shanghai tin gained more than 2%, and jujubes, Shanghai gold, and caustic soda rose more than 1%.
