South Korea's DLS Issuance Rises 29.1% in First Half of 2026

According to Yonhap, issuance of derivatives-linked securities (DLS) in South Korea increased 29.1% on-year in the first half of 2026 to 15.8 trillion won ($10.7 billion), according to data from the Korea Securities Depository. The amount was also up 18.7% from six months earlier. As of end-June, outstanding DLS totaled 42.3 trillion won, up 11.1% from the end of last year.
