The S&P 500 is up 8.28% this year, but 10 index stocks have lost more than 40% as investors dump names they think AI could disrupt. According to BeInCrypto, software, consulting and advertising shares led the decline, with Intuit, Accenture, Cognizant, Gartner and The Trade Desk among the hardest hit.
CoStar Group and Boston Scientific were the two biggest losers for non-AI reasons, while chipmakers including Sandisk, Dell Technologies and Micron Technology surged.
