According to Jin10, Russia's Foreign Ministry said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed sincere condolences over the July 25 Ukrainian drone attack on an Iranian merchant ship that killed one Iranian crew member. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi thanked the Astrakhan authorities for helping the crew of the attacked vessel and stressed that such reckless actions by Kyiv must be prevented.
