ZachXBT said Telegram continues to allow scam ads to appear on his channel, affecting user experience and creating potential security risks. According to Odaily, he said Telegram Premium members who want to support his channel can use the Boost feature to help it reach the required level to unlock the option to disable ads.
He said the channel currently needs to reach Level 50 to enable the ad-off setting. ZachXBT has long tracked crypto scams, hacking incidents, and on-chain fund movements, and has previously exposed phishing attacks, fake projects, and stolen funds.
He also questioned Telegram's ad system, saying it allows scam-related ads to appear in crypto community channels and may increase users' exposure to malicious links and fraudulent activity.
