The Singapore Police Force and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation signed a memorandum of understanding on July 24 to strengthen joint operations, intelligence sharing, training, and law enforcement assistance on online scams, cyber fraud, and money laundering cases. According to Odaily, the two sides completed a joint operation in July targeting cross-border crypto scams in Singapore and the United States, using shared information and blockchain intelligence to identify 54 victims and potential victims and to prevent potential losses of about $2.7 million in the United States and S$388,000 in Singapore.
