据明报报道，携程涉垄断遭市监局重罚52亿元人民币后，官媒《人民日报》发文称，查处携程垄断案释放反垄断、反内卷强烈信号，是平台经济反垄断常态化监管的又一重大标志性案件。
文章指出，该案是新型垄断行为首案，也是中国大陆平台经济领域反垄断同时给予三种处罚的第一案，且为目前平台经济领域罚款比例最高的垄断案件。
