英国人工智能大臣纳拉扬表示，芯片制造和无人机将成为英国新首相伯纳姆推动英国“再工业化”努力的核心，并强调这些技术将在新任首相的计划中占据“重中之重”的地位。
不过，纳拉扬表示，政府拒绝盲目推崇技术的“技术狂热论”，并将通过监管及其他措施，应对人工智能给就业和国家安全带来的“实质性风险”。
针对上个月美国政府出人意料地决定对Anthropic公司的Mythos模型实施出口管制一事，纳拉扬指出，人工智能“已成为地缘政治中的核心分歧点，应对这一局面的方式，必须是建立自身能力，从而掌握话语权和筹码”。
