八号西南烈风或暴风信号现正生效，天文台预告将于中午12时40分改发三号强风信号。据香港电台报道，机场管理局机场服务总监杨达荣表示，预计今日会处理约675个航班，约350个航班要取消，大部分航班将在中午后恢复。
杨达荣称，今天傍晚甚至通宵机场都可能非常繁忙，必要时三条跑道会通宵运作以疏导航班，目标是希望明早恢复航班正常运作。
