According to CNBC, a federal appeals court declined to let President Donald Trump's administration enforce his executive order tightening mail-in voting rules in 23 states ahead of November elections that will decide control of Congress. The Boston-based 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the Justice Department's bid to lift an injunction won by several Democratic-led states on June 25, and the judges said the states had to respond to the order now because of approaching deadlines tied to the September and November elections.
