Stacks Community Approves SIP-045 Ahead of July 29 Hard Fork

Stacks co-creator Muneeb Ali said the Stacks community approved SIP-045 with more than 99% of votes in favor. According to NS3.AI, the vote sets up a hard fork targeted for around July 29 at roughly Bitcoin block 907,740. The upgrade will allow participants to lock BTC and STX to earn yield paid in bitcoin.
