Jensen Huang Shares First X Post, Backs Open AI Models

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang published his first-ever post on X, using it to share a letter signed by NVIDIA on the importance of open AI models. "For my first post, I'm sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter," Huang wrote.Huang said AI will "transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country." He added that open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and the diffusion of AI, and enable sovereignty.He concluded by saying that both open and closed AI models have an important role to play, writing, "The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models."
