Apple is pressuring upstream suppliers to sharply lower OLED panel prices as rising memory chip costs push up iPhone overall costs. According to Jin10, foreign media reported that Apple has asked panel suppliers to price the OLED panels used in the iPhone 18 Pro Max at about $70, down roughly 20% from the previous model. Industry sources estimated that panels currently supplied by Samsung Display and LG Display cost an average of $66.5, even below Apple's target price.
