Lens Technology announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Lens International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Intel Corporation. According to Jin10, the memorandum mainly discusses the two sides' cooperation intentions and initial arrangements in the glass through-glass via advanced packaging field, including glass substrate through-hole forming, high-precision laser processing, metallized via deposition, and multilayer interconnect routing.
The two sides will discuss and evaluate potential cooperation, and Intel will provide relevant architectural information, design for manufacturability guidelines, benchmarking methods, and verification methods. The memorandum is valid for one year from the date it is signed by authorized representatives of both sides and may be extended by agreement before expiry.
