South Korean Court Upholds FIU Ban on Unlicensed Stablecoin Exchange Services

A South Korean court ruled that the FIU lawfully barred unlicensed exchange services for stablecoins and other virtual assets for foreign customers. According to NS3.AI, the Seoul Administrative Court dismissed Darwin KS's lawsuit on July 24. The court said coin exchange services must comply with the virtual asset service provider license requirement.
