Base 工程师 Eric Liu 发推表示，Base v2 快照已上线。据 Foresight News 报道，得益于新的分块与更高压缩率，主网快照体积从约 7 TB 降至约 3.2 TB，同步时间从约 5 小时缩短至约 2 小时，修剪节点体积约 1 TB。
对应 GitHub 发布的 base/node v1.2.0 已升级至 Reth v2.3.0，并引入 V2 快照支持，节点运营者需更新至该版本并完成数据库迁移至 v2 存储。该版本还修复了修剪节点从创世块的同步问题。官方提醒节点运营者在 8 月中旬 MDBX 硬限制截止日期前完成迁移。
