Elon Musk said OpenAI has become an $800 billion closed-source company, calling it the “exact opposite” of the nonprofit he funded and saying his dispute with Sam Altman is about mission, not personality. According to BeInCrypto, Musk made the remarks in an interview with The Economist's Zanny Minton Beddoes and said the Anthropic team left OpenAI because it did not trust Altman. He also said Dario Amodei is “a very principled person,” and added that OpenAI’s shift from its founding mission is his main grievance.
