Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy, overhauled its MSTR metrics to show how much of its Bitcoin pile is owed to lenders and preferred investors before common shareholders, according to BeInCrypto, as founder and executive chairman Michael Saylor said Bitcoin capital markets require a new financial language. The company says it holds about 843,775 Bitcoin, with about $22 billion owed first, leaving roughly $36 billion as net reserve for common shareholders; it also says servicing debt and preferred stock costs about $1.8 billion a year.
